Lucas Herbst was born and raised in Northern California and graduated from Santa Clara University where he earned a degree in communications. While at Santa Clara he was also a member of the baseball team all four years. After his time at Santa Clara, he continued to pursue his baseball passion playing professionally in the Baltimore Orioles organization for the next three years. Before joining the Lyon Stahl Team as an Associate Agent, Lucas worked as a sales associate for a restaurant supply company in San Jose.
